Project Highlights
A central aspect of the brief was accessibility, as one of our clients’ sons required additional mobility support, inspiring us to design a handrail that would blend seamlessly into the scheme rather than appear clinical and overtly obvious. Collaborating closely with our suppliers and craftsmen, we developed a bespoke solution that is both subtle and structurally robust—an elegant detail that enhances comfort while preserving the aesthetic integrity of the interiors. This thoughtful design element proved deeply rewarding, underscoring the importance of inclusive design within the home environment.
Throughout the renovation, we worked in partnership with the management body to ensure all aspects adhered to the building’s regulations. Once the superfluous boxing was removed, we reintroduced architectural detailing where appropriate, establishing good proportions. Subtle Art Deco influences were reinterpreted to lend the apartment a renewed identity, celebrating its heritage while connecting it back to place.
Light, texture, and composition were key to achieving the final look and feel. Framed window treatments draw attention to sweeping views of the London skyline, while a serene, layered palette establishes a sense of calm amidst the vibrancy of King’s Road. The result is a refined retreat that embodies modern elegance, functionality, and thoughtful living—an apartment that truly feels at home within Chelsea’s architectural legacy.
