Design Highlights
We stripped the apartment back to its Victorian bones, reinstating ceiling heights and period features that once defined its grandeur. Belgian linen walling was fitted through the reception rooms and passages, chosen for its soft visual texture, refined appearance, and sound-dampening qualities that create a serene atmosphere. A reclaimed Versailles parquet floor with acoustic underlay further enhanced the sense of quiet luxury while minimising noise transfer to the flat below.
Bespoke cabinetry and tailor-made furniture were designed in collaboration with British makers, including a dining table and sideboards that now serve as modern heirlooms. Throughout, art plays a key role—most notably works by Tess Chodan and Cat Croxford from our Artists Appreciation Initiative. The American artist, Ben Fenske is also beautifully displayed here.
The result is a home reborn—rich in character, balanced in proportion, and layered with comfort and meaning. This refined London pied-à-terre captures the essence of Victorian elegance reimagined for contemporary living.
