Regarding the featured project; we have worked with this wonderful Putney family on various projects for over 12 years now, and it is always a pleasure and a joy. This specific project involved a rather elaborate house extension, for which we were invited to design and fit the kitchen. The client had chosen a contemporary look to the rear of the house with a full width set of bi-folds onto the back garden. It was fitting to recommend a contemporary high-end German manufactured flat door style kitchen, seen here in Basalt grey. We specified the back run in a matt lacquer finish, and the central island in a gloss finish as a contrast.

For a seamless finish, we specified, in the build, a recessed pocket channel behind the run of cornice to take the curtain track for the contemporary sheers. These were specified from Romo’s Jessica Zoob range.

Once we have understood this clearly we pepper our intentions with creativity and innovation to ensure the designs we generate are on brief, but more importantly, have that special ingredient that sets them apart. Our fitters, critically, are hand selected for their attention to detail and their masterfulness in working their craft. This is important because there is always a level of ‘translation’ required from paper to reality and that takes skill on the part of the fitter and on-going communication between the fitters and the design team, so that nothing is left to chance. We value our supplier and our fitters, and we recognise that exceptional kitchens are the result of brilliant team work.

The end result of all of this is that our clients have kitchens that serve their every need, and work well within the context of their homes. The piece de resistance is that the journey to that point is always a pleasurable one.
