WE ARE SIMPLY DELIGHTED TO PRESENT THIS COMPLETED VICTORIAN APARTMENT
I think you can see from the smile on my face in the image above just how pleased we are with the results of this project and so it gives me great pleasure to share it here with you. Many of the design decisions that you will see manifested in this apartment are bold choices. There’s no griege here, and as a result the final outcome is joyful, elegant, gloriously happy and calm. Thank you to our team and to our suppliers for giving every attention to detail. These projects are delivered by many dedicated professionals; all working in their specialist areas to the highest level.
WHAT THE REFURBISHMENT PROJECT ENTAILED
Our clients appointed us to fully refurbish this Chelsea property to the loveliest standard. Set within a beautiful Victorian Mansion block, and comprised of two South West facing and interconnecting Reception Rooms, 3 Bedrooms, a Kitchen Diner, Main Bathroom and Shower Room; there was no space or surface that we did not change radically.
Our brief was to restore the property’s character whilst bringing it up to date sympathetically; creating a haven of quiet yet inspired calm, through a full refurbishment process of all areas and to the highest standard.
As many of the original features had been covered up we didn’t always know what we were going to find until ceilings or walls were removed.
We were commissioned to introduce a high degree of visual interest with colour, print, texture, scale and proportion. High value was placed on the importance of craftsmanship and finish.
The property required a full rewire, new kitchen, bathrooms and FF&E throughout.
A LOOK INTO THE SITTING ROOM

Sitting Room furnished with Ben Fenske artwork above the Tiffany sofa. Butterfly dome by Hunter and Collector in the back alcove. Bespoke metal and glass furniture pieces by Lindi Reynolds & Co. Walls are sumptuously covered in Belgian linen. Floor is covered with a natural grass rug from Tim Page. Window dressings are Colefax and Fowler, with cushions bespoke made from Manual Canvas, Thibaut, GP&J Baker and James Hare.
PRESENTING THE DINING ROOM

Dining Room with bespoke furniture throughout. The artwork above the fireplace is by Ben Fenske and the forest scene to the left of this is by Cat Croxford.
PRESENTING THE KITCHEN

The wallpaper in this kitchen is from Thibaut. We have paired it with these vibrant glass pendants from Curiousa Studios, and then painted the bespoke kitchen in a soft blue referenced in the wallpaper. The floor from Charles Lowe and Sons really helps pull this kitchen together. Our fitters have laid it with a boarder, beautifully trimmed with a thin strip of brass.
WHAT OUR CLIENT HAD TO SAY of their victorian apartment refurbishment
This is just a snapshot of the project, so if you would like to learn more about how we go about tackling projects such as this please do get in touch.
In the mean time, this is what our clients had to say about their journey with us:
We engaged Lindi and her team to fully refurbish our 3 bedroom flat in a Victorian mansion block in Chelsea. She was involved right from the beginning of the process and dealt with everything from electrics, re-plastering, lighting design, bespoke furniture and cabinetry making, kitchen and bathroom design and fitting and much more. Lindi was brilliant to work with, able to help us see the big picture at the same time as paying attention to every last detail to ensure that the final outcome was every bit as fantastic as we had hoped. Lindi listened very carefully to what we wanted to achieve, took on our ideas and thoughts, improved on them and often came up with creative solutions to any problems we encountered along the way. The potentially overwhelming task of choosing colour schemes, fabrics and designs was made both manageable and a huge amount of fun when supported by a combination of Lindi’s wealth of professional experience and her creative eye.‘
