WE ARE ABSOLUTELY THRILLED TO HAVE Tricia Moss JOIN THE ARTISTS APPRECIATION INITIATIVE

We are simply thrilled to have Abstract Expressionist,Tricia Moss, join the Artists Appreciation Initiative. Tricia’s abstract expressions are exuberant celebrations of colour and textural interplay. Her paintings encapsulate a sense of carefree expression, unhindered by expectation as the mark making takes you on a joyful journey of discovery. This is possible because the mark making is so brilliantly confident and the colour mixing quite unique and sensitively balanced.

BASED IN WIMBLEDON, SOuTH WEST LONDON TRICIA DRAWS INSPIRATION FROM THE River Thames

Tricia is based in Wimbledon, in South West London, and describes herself as a mixed media contemporary artist. She says of her work, ‘My expressive, colourful and textured paintings are influenced by the love of nature, in particular the sea, having been brought up by the coast.’

Currently based in London, the great River Thames provides much of her inspiration. She goes on to explain, ‘Although coastal elements are always present, my paintings are more about emotive expression, than of specific representation.  They are are about the feelings invoked by the identifiable. My objective is to capture in a painting a collective emotive response to the physical coastal environment through abstract multi sensory representation.  I invite the viewer to have their own interpretation and emotional connection with my paintings, through the use of harmonious subtle colour shifts, contrasting, multi layered mark making, with a sense of depth to provide continual intrigue and wonder.’

THE ROLE OF ART IN INTERIORS

Tricia Moss brings another dimension to this wonderful community of vibrant and progressive artists brings another brilliant creative talent to the group. The Artists Appreciation Initiative came about as a result of our acknowledgement of the central role of art in award winning interior design. Sometimes our projects take years to complete, and without artwork on the walls the rooms remain soulless. With this in mind we set up the Artists Appreciation Initiative. It is a select group of emerging British artists that we would be pleased and proud to present to our clients knowing that their work would provide the perfect finishing touches to our projects. Tricia’s works have an exuberance that would make the right sort of interior dance. We are an Architectural Interior Design company specialising in two main residential property areas; New Build residential and Period Property extensions and renovations. We usually get involved at the beginning of the process, overseeing every step of the way till final hand over, so the Artists Appreciation Initiative provides us with the perfect finishing touches at the end of what is sometimes a very long process. We look forward to working with Tricia in the future, and hope very much that her work will grace the walls of some of our future projects.
